Information about venue hire at Museum of London
London is one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world and the Museum of London traces the story of its success. Located in the heart of the City, just a few minutes walk from St. Paul’s, the Museum offers an unique and inspirational setting for both day and evening events.
Due to a major £20 million redevelopment the Museum is currently unavailable for venue hire although the upper galleries remain open to visitors and continue to tell the capital’s story from 400,000 BC until the Great Fire of London in 1666.
As part of this redevelopment the Museum is also undertaking extensive work to refresh its Theatre and conference areas. From September 2009, new daytime conference spaces will be available to hire as well as a state-of-the-art 220-seat purpose-built auditorium and interactive media centre. Additionally from 2010 the dramatically transformed lower gallery spaces will be available to hire for fine dining and receptions, including a tranquil City garden for summer parties.
